- Loading and securing. Items are wrapped, padded and secured for the road.
- Transport. An estimated delivery window is given before the move.
- Delivery and placement. Furniture is reassembled where needed.
Your long distance move timeline
- About 6 weeks out: request your quote with both addresses and confirm your date window. Order packing materials and decide whether you need storage at the destination.
- About 2 weeks out: pack rooms you rarely use. Label boxes by room and mark fragile ones. Book building lifts or parking at both ends if relevant.
- The week of: pack an essentials box. Set aside documents, medication and valuables to carry yourself. Confirm who is at each address.
- On the day: clear driveways, lifts and doorways at both ends. Keep your essentials box with you.
